Yep. I spent many, many hours playing NFS and its various versions back in the day. The music is one of the best bits about the early series.

In fact, its probably what got me into the genre of electronic music and the like.

I’m not even that much into techno/trance/electronic music but I love the Rom di Prisco songs. They have something I connect with the late 90s and very early 00s, even though I was a toddler back then.

Just seen this now. All NFS games usually had a fantastic track list but NFS4's soundtrack was something truly special and part of what makes it my favorite NFS title, and one of my all time favorite games in general. Still loving everything about it.

Always have it in my notebook’s disk drive, too bad I haven’t managed to find a way yet to get it running on the current Windows 8.1.

If I remember correctly the PC version is much better. I could be mistaken though. Sucks that you can’t play it.

Different menu and slightly improved graphics but apparently somewhat worse handling. Not sure if the career and game modes are slightly different as well.

Didn’t even know that there were any differences between PC and PSX. I’ve always thought the PC version had the best graphics, guess I was wrong..

The differences mentioned above are from the PC version (which was released a bit later I believe). For some reason all cars got remodeled (and actually looked worse) tho.
